Abstract
This paper presents an exhaustive review of the impacts of supply chain integration (SCI) on the organizational performance of medium and small-scale enterprises (MSEs) in the manufacturing sector. Supply chain integration, encompassing internal, external, and customer-supplier collaborations, has emerged as a critical factor in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall performance in competitive markets. The study synthesizes findings from a comprehensive analysis of recent literature, focusing on how SCI influences key performance indicators such as productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction in MSEs. It explores the challenges faced by MSEs in achieving seamless integration due to resource limitations, technological barriers, and market volatility. The paper further discusses best practices, technological advancements, and policy frameworks that can support effective SCI implementation. The review concludes with recommendations for future research and practical strategies to optimize SCI for sustainable growth in the manufacturing sector.
